A New Study on Multiple Vitamins
A new study from the women’s health initiative in forty clinical sites in the United States was done on 7,728 women aged 50-79 diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. The study was to determine whether taking a multiple vitamin improved breast cancer mortality in postmenopausal women. The women were followed seven years after breast cancer diagnosis. The study showed that breast cancer mortality was lower in multiple vitamin users than in non users.
This is another reason all women should be taking a good quality multiple vitamin. This study shows a reduction in mortality in invasive breast cancer. Multiple vitamin use may also prevent breast cancer.
